Hi! My name is Celia Oberholzer.
I am a 30-year-old graphic, motion, and UI/UX designer by trade, and writer and problem-solver by nature. In 2024, I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a B.S. in Communication Design from UC’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning. I previously received my B.A. in Psychology from Kenyon College in 2015.
I had a long and storied career as a competitive swimmer, culminating in 4 NCAA championships, 3 NCAA records, and 11 NCAA Division III All-American awards during my time as a Kenyon Lady.
After a few years living in Columbus, in 2019 I decided to go back to school for design, a career I have dreamed of since I was an elementary schooler teaching myself HTML and Photoshop.
I strongly believe that there is more than one way to tell a story, and it is part of our job as designers to make decisions that not only consider the complex needs of individual projects but also promote a world in which every person is deserving of dignity, respect, and understanding.
